How do I activate Windows 7 over the phone?
Due to the lack of support from Microsoft, activating Windows 7 is more difficult; phone activation may be required.
Open the Command Prompt (by typing "CMD" in the Start menu) as an administrator and enter the following command:
slmgr -rearm
If the above method does not work, use the phone activation instructions.
Phone Activation Instructions (Error 0x80072F8F):
1. Enter the code and selectActivate.
2. Click Back, then select Phone Activation.
3. Enter the numbers from step 2 into https://key-soft-activator.pl/ (9 x 6 digits).
4. Enter the confirmation ID you received into step 3 and confirm.
5. Done, the product has been activated!
