Sign in to Microsoft Teams

Sign in to Microsoft Teams

As with other services that facilitate team communication, Microsoft Teams works in a similar way—signing in is very simple, and the entire process takes only a few seconds or a few dozen seconds.

Let’s start with a quick refresher on what Teams actually is.

Microsoft Teams — What Is It?

Microsoft Teams is a platform for professional communication and collaboration that makes it easier to coordinate team activities. With Teams, users can hold video conferences, exchange text messages, share files, and collaborate on them in real time. The platform also integrates with other Microsoft tools, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, enabling seamless switching between them and content sharing.

Teams — Online Sign-In

The popular "Teams" offers two ways to sign in—you can either use the app or sign in via a web browser without installing any software on your computer. In both cases, you'll need a Microsoft account to use the service.

Let's start with the version for the Microsoft Windows.

Teams — Signing in to the app

  1. Open the Teams app. If you've signed in before, a list of accounts will appear. If not, enter your Microsoft login.

  1. Next, enter the password associated with your Microsoft account.

  1. The system may ask you to enter a PIN. Enter the system PIN—this is the PIN for the Windows account you're currently logged into.

  1. Click “Continue”.

  1. Online sign-in for Teams is ready!

Teams - Sign in via a web browser

  1. Go to the service’s website—you can find it at many different addresses, but the easiest way is to simply type teams.com into the address bar. Click “Sign in” in the top-right corner.

  1. Enter your Microsoft account username.

  1. Enter your Microsoft account password.

  1. All done!

As you can see, the process is very quick with Teams—just sign in via your browser or the app and start using the service’s communication features. No matter which version you choose, it’s worth using activation keys for various versions of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Windows at Key-Soft.pl. You can log in to Teams using the same account you use for the programs mentioned above.

Is Teams a paid service?

You can use the free version of the service—the limitations aren’t too restrictive (the biggest one is probably the 60-minute limit on meeting duration). There are also paid versions included in Microsoft 365 plans.
