Where to buy an original Windows key

Windows 10 is running slowly

Windows 10 is considered the least intrusive of all Microsoft operating systems to date, as well as the fastest to boot—even on computers that are considered technological relics.   On older hardware, the system will still run significantly slower than on a modern desktop computer, but proper optimization will certainly improve the situation.

To diagnose the problem, let’s first learn a little about how the operating system boots up. So what does this process look like? When you turn on the computer, the BIOS is the first component to start up, and it initiates the Windows boot process. During this time, data is loaded from the hard drive and then transferred to the RAM. On new computers, the system boots in less than 10 seconds; on older computers, unfortunately, it can take up to several minutes. However, over time, even the newest hardware—if not regularly optimized—starts up more and more slowly.

What could be causing your computer to start up too slowly? Usually, it’s the user’s actions that cause the computer to slow down significantly during startup and while in use. What are the most common causes of a slow startup?

  • Computer overload – too much memory-intensive software, such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, causes the system to become overloaded and the computer to slow down. Why does this happen? Often, these programs start up with the system and run specific background processes; for example, Adobe launches the Adobe Creative Cloud panel at startup. You can check most of these processes in the lower-right corner of the taskbar.
  • New drivers have been installed – drivers typically facilitate the operation of specific hardware components, such as enabling the proper playback of videos and MP3 files, as well as controlling the operation of computer components like the graphics card. However, there are sometimes batches of faulty drivers or drivers that are installed incorrectly, which significantly slow down the operating system.
  • Malicious software—such as viruses, spyware, Trojans, and all types of malware—can be introduced into your computer through unscanned external drives, files downloaded from the internet, and so on. This type of malware can significantly slow down your computer’s performance. It’s worth protecting your computer with the most effective antivirus software available on the market. If you’re not sure which antivirus program to choose, visit our blog and check out our antivirus software rankings.
  • No real-time updates – these days, programs typically update automatically when the computer starts up. However, updates aren’t always performed while the computer is online, which can also affect its performance.
  • Windows update packages containing bugs – from time to time, Microsoft releases a Windows update package that contains bugs, which often cause the operating system to slow down. In such cases, it is usually recommended to roll back the system to the previous Windows update.

So, what steps should you take to speed up your computer?

Windows 10 Pro is running slowly

First, check how long it takes to start up your device. How do you do that?

In the Start menu, type “Event Viewer” or “event” in the search box. Then select “Application and Services Logs,” followed by “Microsoft,” then “Windows.” Next, select “Diagnostics-Performance” and choose “Performance.” Look for event ID 100, which contains the startup time we’re looking for. Event 101, on the other hand, is a collection of information about applications that slow down your computer’s performance. For example, if Adobe Photoshop took 2 seconds longer to load this time than before, then it’s clearly worth checking whether updates were being applied in real time. Furthermore, if this program launches during system startup, it’s worth disabling its startup with the system in Task Manager.

If you already know how long it takes for your computer to boot up and it’s longer than the ideal 10 seconds, it’s time to move on to the detailed steps that will help us speed up the boot process and stop wasting any more time.

  1. Check to make sure that the default search feature hasn’t been disabled—“Fast Startup” is a built-in Windows 10 feature that automatically improves your computer’s startup time. How do you check this? Right-click the battery icon on your laptop, select Power Options, and then choose What the power button does. Here, you’ll see whether Fast Startup is enabled on your computer. If you want to always see whether the feature is active, it’s best to set the power button to put the computer into sleep mode rather than shut it down. This way, you can check at any time whether Fast Startup is enabled.
  2. Disable unnecessary programs from startup—one of the most resource-intensive features, which causes all programs selected in the startup list to launch when the operating system starts up. Therefore, if many programs are selected in startup, your computer may take significantly longer to boot. It’s best to review and disable all unnecessary programs saved in startup. How do you do this? Press Windows + R, then type msconfig, Next, select the Startup tab, which will take you to the Task Manager, where you’ll find a list of programs saved in the startup folder. After removing unnecessary applications, you’ll definitely notice a difference the next time you boot up the operating system. Another, simpler way is to go to Task Manager; you can launch it using the CTRL + SHIFT + ESC keys. Then go to the Startup tab; here you will see a list of programs that launch when the system starts up.  Removing a program from the Startup list will not uninstall the program; it will simply ensure that the program does not affect the startup load of your computer.
  3. Check to see if your operating system has been infected—malicious software often consumes large amounts of physical RAM, which reduces your computer’s performance. To verify that your system hasn’t been infected, it’s a good idea to scan your computer using a reliable paid antivirus program. Free antivirus programs are not effective enough against the complexity of the malware currently attacking our computers. If you do not have a suitable antivirus program, you can use the built-in Windows Defender, which is part of the Windows 10 operating system. How do you launch Windows Defender? Simply open Settings, then Updates & Security, and next, Windows Security. It is best to leave the program in full scan mode until a summary report appears, which will contain information on the next steps you need to take to resolve any potential issues.
  4. Replace your HDD with an SSD. This will make your computer run significantly faster and more efficiently. It’s a great way to boost the performance of even older hardware without having to buy a new computer. You can now buy a new 250 GB SSD starting at 150 PLN.

Windows 10 takes a long time to start up after an update

Have the above methods failed? In that case, it’s worth checking for Windows updates. How do you do that? Go to Settings, then Updates & Security, and then Windows Update.

If the system shows an update that hasn't been installed, you should install it and restart your computer, which will allow you to immediately check whether the problem has been resolved.

If you need to update your drivers, it's best to visit the manufacturer's website and check for available updates.

The serial number of the device can also be helpful in this situation, as it will allow you to identify the specific model and find the appropriate drivers for it.

Windows 10 is running slowly after the 2021 update

If the system is running slowly after the update, it’s a good idea to check whether the update was actually successful. First, make sure your internet connection is stable. Then, if the update still isn’t working, go to Settings, then Windows Update, and then Check for updates. If the system doesn’t show any updates available for download, it’s best to proceed to more advanced steps.

Windows 10 is running slowly after the 2020 update

If the steps above or the update did not resolve the issue, a good way to improve system performance is to reset it to factory settings. This is a very simple process. Just go to Settings, then select Update & Security, followed by Recovery, and finally reset your computer to its original state. In the next step, select the options that allow you to keep your selected files, personal programs, and settings. However, if you do not need to keep your personal data, then a better solution is to reinstall Windows. Keep in mind, however, that even if you choose the system reset option, it is a good idea to save selected files to a separate external drive, which will ensure that you do not lose any data that is essential to you.

Windows 10 cannot complete the installation of the update

If Windows 10 doesn't find any active updates to download, click Start, right-click Control Panel, select System and Security, then Troubleshoot, and finally Troubleshoot Windows Update issues.

According to information provided by Microsoft, the latest Microsoft Office 2021 suite is set to be released in Poland later this year, with versions available for both Windows and Mac users. The updated Microsoft Office 2021 will include, among other features, an offline version of the commercial LTSC (Long-Term Servicing Channel) edition, as well as an upgraded cloud solution.

Some of the new features introduced in Office 2021 have already been available to Office 365 users.

In this post, you’ll learn what’s new in the latest Office 2021 suite, when Office 2021 is set to launch in Poland, what changes Microsoft has introduced in Office 2021 and Office 365, and what changes are included in the popular Office Home & Student versions.

Office 2021

Let’s first take a look at the changes in the LTSC version. What is LTSC? It’s a solution for businesses that prefer on-premises solutions rather than cloud-based ones. Internet access in Poland isn’t always perfect everywhere, so Microsoft decided to also consider those users who want access to the latest Microsoft solutions without needing an internet connection.

Another feature introduced in Microsoft Office 2021 includes a dark mode interface, dynamic tables, and the XLOOZAKUP functions available in Microsoft Excel. Additionally, Microsoft Office offers numerous improvements related to web accessibility and integrated solutions. Microsoft 2021 also offers an extended warranty compared to previous versions—up to seven years—whereas previous versions were covered by a warranty for only up to five years. It is also important to note that Microsoft does not intend to raise prices for the latest versions of its product.

The LTSC version was released globally in April, with the full suite following shortly thereafter. Undoubtedly, another major event of 2021 is the latest release of Windows 11, which builds primarily on the features of Windows 10 while enhancing changes that arose from user feedback. In the context of the Office suite, Microsoft has focused primarily on improving applications such as Word, Excel, OneNote, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

As one of the leading companies in the software market, Microsoft reached out directly to its users and implemented changes based on the feedback it received from them. Microsoft used the Fluent Design solution for these changes. What is the Fluent Design System?

The Microsoft Fluent Design System, also known as the Microsoft Design Language (“Metro”), is a design language developed in 2017 by Microsoft. This system is a set of interaction and design guidelines used in all Windows 10 applications and related software. Metro is based on components such as Depth, Material, Light, and Scale. Fluent Design first appeared in Windows 10, as well as in the Windows 10 Anniversary Update.

Initially, these changes were available only to Office Insider users. Additionally, Microsoft—taking a comprehensive approach to user experience—has provided all users with the ability to use a dedicated panel to see exactly what changes have been introduced in the latest Office 2021. Microsoft also provided the option to disable the latest 2021 interface design if a user does not wish to use the new features at this time.

What changes have been made in the latest version of Microsoft Office 2021?

First and foremost, users can expect smoother app performance and better app integration. Additionally, a neutral color palette has been introduced, along with new modes, personalized ribbons, and rounded app corners. A dark mode has also been introduced, which enhances comfort when using a desktop device—it even turns a sheet of paper black and displays text in white.

What other features can we find in the latest Office 2021?

  • The built-in commenting system in Word 2021—a feature users are familiar with from Google's interactive documents. Office 365 users were already introduced to this feature last year. For classic Office customers, this is a completely new feature. How does this feature work? You can add comments to any document at a specific location, suggesting appropriate corrections with the option to tag the person to whom the comments are directed using their first name, last name, or email address.
  • The merger of the Teams Planner and To-Do features into a single option—previously, Planner was a standalone app, while To-Do was a built-in mobile app. The merger of To Do and Planner within the Teams app is expected to significantly simplify users’ workflows. The popularity of Teams has prompted the developers to meet users’ needs and ultimately combine these features into a single modern functionality—Tasks and Planner. The merger process took place in three stages: the first was Planner on the desktop version and Tasks on the mobile version; the second was Tasks by Planner and To Do on the desktop and Tasks on mobile; the third stage was the merger of Tasks and Planner under the name Tasks on the desktop and Tasks on mobile.
  • The new version of dark mode in Microsoft Word—an additional feature that will particularly appeal to users who spend long hours working in Microsoft Word. Previously, Office Insider users were able to test the beta version of dark mode. This new feature will be especially beneficial for users of OLED monitors. In Office 2021, you’ll find this feature in the “View” tab.
  • The X.LOOKUP function in Microsoft Excel 2021 – Office 365 users have been able to test this feature for a year now. What does it do? X.LOOKUP allows you to perform an enhanced search of an array or range based on a match, thereby returning a specific element from the array or another range. If you are a Microsoft Excel user, you are likely familiar with the VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP functions, and combinations of functions such as MATCH, POSITION, and INDEX. The new X.LOOKUP replaces these functionalities and improves upon them.
  • Office 2021 Interface Update – The changes to the Office 2021 and Office 365 interfaces may not be as dramatic as those in Office 2019, but, as Microsoft notes, the interface will be improved, and certain features will be more tailored to the target users. The update will focus on improving certain features, such as hyperlinks, new keyboard shortcuts, and more seamless tool integration.

What other features has Microsoft Office introduced in the new 2021 version?

  • Line Focus – a system designed to reduce distractions while writing. It helps you focus on one line at a time.
  • XLOOZAKUP in Excel – as we mentioned earlier – makes it easier to search through Excel documents.
  • The ability to record slides with narration in PowerPoint
  • and others, such as: dynamic arrays, general improvements to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook,

Office 2021 release date

In April 2021, Microsoft announced that Mac users can now download a trial version of Office 2021 from its servers, as well as Office Long Term Servicing Channel, also known as Office LTSC.

Microsoft Office 2021 for Windows will be available much later, including a preview version; however, we may still see it released this year. The final versions of Office 2021 for Windows and Office 2021 for Mac are scheduled to be released by the end of 2021.

Microsoft Office 2021 release date

Office 2021 for Mac users can be run on computers that meet the following hardware requirements:

  • Apple or Intel processor with a minimum of 4 GB of RAM.
  • at least 10 GB of free disk space,

As part of the Office 2021 solution, Microsoft will provide monthly updates that will include both new features and bug fixes. As Microsoft has announced, individual updates will be released on an ongoing basis in subsequent update packages.

Office 2021 Home and Student

The good news for Office 2021 users is that the price of the Office 2021 suite will be the same as that of Microsoft Office 2019. Currently, the Office for Mac version of Office Home & Student costs about $149.99, while the Office Home & Business 2019 version costs about $249.99.

The Office 2021 volume license allows you to purchase a perpetual license with an additional seven years of Microsoft support.

You must purchase an LTSC license for each device individually; however, this license does not need to be renewed after payment.

There are reports circulating that Microsoft will raise the prices of Office Professional Plus, Office Standard, and related applications by about ten percent following the launch; however, there is no confirmation of this. Microsoft has also announced that, following the launch of Office LTSC, the next version of the software will be released without a release date.

Office 2021 or Office 365

What are the differences between Microsoft Office 2021 and Microsoft 365?

One of the most noticeable and significant differences is how these packages are paid for. With Office 2021, you can still make a one-time payment and keep the software indefinitely. The available versions of Microsoft 365 require a regular subscription fee of approximately $69.99 per year.

The latest versions of Microsoft 365 also include access to apps such as Skype, 1 TB of additional OneDrive storage, and access to the web-based subscription version of Microsoft Teams.

Microsoft 365 also includes regular updates, at least once a month, according to Microsoft. For the standard Office 2021 suite, updates are also delivered after installation, but these will be limited to security patches.

The ability to use the Office 365 suite is a convenient option in terms of access time. However, as Microsoft assures us, programs such as LTSC and the classic Office 2021 will continue to be released for the convenience of users. Some companies cannot, or even should not for security reasons, run these programs with an internet connection. It is better for them to function more efficiently in offline mode.

Office 2021 will be available to both corporate and individual customers. This package will include all the new features found in Office 365, but it will certainly not be updated as frequently as Office 365.

There is no doubt that traditional, on-premises products such as Office LTSC and Office 2021 are a good choice in many situations—for both commercial and home users—but the vast majority of customers still opt primarily for Microsoft Office 365.

As Microsoft points out, if your company hasn’t yet migrated to cloud services, Microsoft and the Get Support team can provide significant assistance and help prepare your company for the transition to cloud services.

We hope this article has helped you learn more about the latest version of Office 2021.

Windows 10 is the most widely used operating system among all those released to date by Microsoft. Windows 10 was released in 2015, but continuous improvements through monthly and major semi-annual updates have made it one of the most innovative, stable, and secure operating systems available. You can purchase Windows 10 in the Home, Professional, Enterprise, Education, and Pro for Workstation. In the following post, we’ll take a closer look at the available versions of Windows 10, particularly the Home version. We’ll examine the features of this version of Windows 10, including Windows 10 Home with an ORIGINAL KEY, as well as versions with KEY PACKAGING. We’ll also answer questions about which Windows 10 version to choose—32-bit or 64-bit—and how to upgrade from Windows 10 Home to Pro.

Windows Home price

Let’s take a closer look at the available versions of Windows 10:

  • Windows 10 Home is a version designed for home users. It includes only basic features.
  • Windows 10 Professional is a version of the operating system that is particularly popular among advanced users and businesses.
  • Windows 10 Enterprise is a version designed for larger enterprises, offering additional features. It is available in the LTSC and LTSB editions.
  • Windows 10 for Education is another name for Windows 10 Enterprise—a version designed specifically for educational institutions and schools.
  • Windows 10 Pro for Workstations – this version is designed specifically for users with demanding needs, such as workstation clients requiring significant processing power and RAM.
  • Windows 10 S is actually a fairly common version of Windows 10. It is a heavily restricted version, designed primarily for the education market and educational institutions. Due to its severe limitations, the S version does not allow the installation of any apps from outside the Microsoft Store. You can, therefore, forget about installing additional software such as Steam, Orgin, etc. The S version of the operating system is so limited that you cannot even change the built-in Microsoft Edge web browser; there is also no option to use the Control Panel or the Registry Editor. Windows 10 S is simply an option for weaker and less powerful computers. It is also a safe option for children and older adults, who, thanks to the system’s limited functionality, will not be able to download malicious software onto their computers. Due to its system limitations, Windows 10 S is actually one of the most secure versions of the operating system.

The price of Windows 10 does not depend solely on the version of the operating system you choose; it also depends on the number of workstations, the processor architecture, as well as the license type (ORIGINAL KEY, KEY, or boxed version).

Windows 10 Home Edition price

Windows Home, like Windows Professional, is one of the most commonly purchased versions of Windows 10. How do these versions differ from one another?

Typically, the Home edition is purchased by home users and small businesses that do not require more advanced features. In practice, therefore, the choice between Windows 10 Home and Windows 10 Pro depends on the environment in which the operating system will be used. If your company uses Active Directory, it’s worth opting for the Windows Pro version right away.

Windows 10 Pro also offers additional advanced features, such as BitLocker, which effectively protects company data in the event of a cyberattack or if a device is lost or stolen.

When is the Home edition enough? If you’re using Windows 10 in a small business and don’t need any additional features, the Home edition is usually sufficient. With it, you can download and run any apps, including those not from the Microsoft Store, browse the web, share files, use Office, sync settings, sync updates, and use OneDrive.

Before we get to the prices of the selected versions, let’s take a look at the new features Windows 10 has introduced compared to previous versions:

  • the Start menu and a more user-friendly and easier-to-manage taskbar.
  • a more intuitive interface, the ability to adjust the height and width of the shortcut bar,
  • an additional section of the shortcut bar; the right side is reserved for tiles with assigned shortcuts; the left side is for tiles of the most frequently used apps;
  • dynamic and animated tiles in the menu bar, allowing you to pin widgets for news, weather, entertainment,
  • a comprehensive system-wide search engine,
  • smoother window sorting,
  • Additionally: a notification panel located in the lower-right corner, which allows you to quickly access features such as settings, location, and night mode, as well as wireless connections,
  • Among the new features introduced in the Home edition of Microsoft Windows 10 are: a more advanced and efficient Microsoft Edge browser, which replaces its predecessor, Internet Explorer; built-in facial and fingerprint recognition; and Cortana, a personal assistant that helps users navigate the Windows system; Continuum—an effective tablet mode that makes touchscreen devices run even more smoothly; Windows Holographic, also known as HoloLens—a platform enabling the use of holographic glasses;

Windows 10 Home and Pro also differ in price, as set by the manufacturer. Users who purchase the Home version must expect to pay at least 229 PLN for KEY ORIGINAL Windows 10 Home KEY a single-user, lifetime license. Customers who have decided to purchase the Pro version through the simplest option, KEY Windows 10 Pro KEY, should expect to pay starting at 189 PLN for a single-user license with a lifetime license option. As we can see, the price difference also depends on the specific version chosen—GENUINE KEY, KEY, or BOX. Let’s take a closer look; these available versions differ from one another.

Windows 10 Home GENUINE KEY

The "Original KEY " version of the Windows 10 operating system KEY Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) version. This version is significantly cheaper than the traditional Windows 10 version that comes with an installation disc and a box. The ORIGINAL KEY version KEY purchasing a special code without an installation disc. Typically, this type of operating system is provided upon purchase of a selected device that already has Windows 10 installed in the ORIGINAL KEY version.

The ORIGINAL KEY version KEY assigned directly to the device and is tied to its technical specifications; therefore, it can only be used on a single device. For this reason, this license is much cheaper than other available versions, such as KEY standard boxed version.

If you want to sell the license after purchasing the laptop, you can only do so by selling the laptop along with the desktop computer. Due to the specifications of Windows 10, the system does not need to be restarted; if you wish, you can restore factory settings or roll back a specific patch update at any time, in addition to the larger semi-annual updates with system improvements. Windows 10 can be installed multiple times on the same device, e.g., when replacing components such as the motherboard or the Windows system drive.
