How to install Windows 10 from a disc
Installing Windows 10 from a disc is similar to installing it from another medium. If you are installing the first operating system on a selected desktop computer, simply insert the disc into the computer and the installer should launch automatically. If, however, you are installing Windows over an existing older version of the system, select the installation media you want to use and choose "Autoplay." Now, simply return to the steps described earlier—that is, follow the installer’s instructions: accept the necessary agreements, enter the product key, create disk partitions, and configure the new operating system.
Why can't I install Windows 10?
Installing Windows from a direct link, a USB drive, or a disc shouldn't be too difficult. The system setup is fairly simple and intuitive; however, if you’re still having trouble with the installation, it’s worth checking whether the installation file was downloaded completely and whether there were any interruptions in your internet connection during the download. If, however, the problem occurs during the step of entering the product key, you should contact the company from which you purchased the product and file an appropriate complaint.
Where to install Windows 10
You can install Windows on any desktop computer with the appropriate hardware specifications. What does that mean?
RAM: 1 GB for the 32-bit version or 2 GB for the 64-bit version
Hard disk space: 16 GB for a 32-bit operating system or 32 GB for a 64-bit operating system
Graphics card: DirectX 9 or later with WDDM 1.0 driver
Display: 800 x 600
With this much RAM, Windows should run smoothly without any major issues, provided that updates are kept up to date.
We hope we’ve answered all your questions about how to install Windows 10. As you’ve probably noticed, this installation isn’t a complicated process that requires a specialized guide, although it’s good to have one to avoid unnecessary misunderstandings, such as when entering the product key, creating separate disk partitions, or being forced to create a Microsoft account.
Windows 10 is an operating system that was released in July 2015. Until 2016, it was offered as a free update for users of Windows 7 and Windows 8. This led to Windows 10 being used by over 75 million users in a short time, and shortly thereafter, it surpassed 100 million installations. The system is available on the market in two main versions. Below, we will attempt to outline the purpose of each license and the differences in their functionality.

In this post, you’ll learn about the differences between the Windows 10 Home and Professional editions. We’ll compare the key features of each edition, help you decide which one is best for you, and recommend the edition that will give you the most satisfaction.
Windows 10 Professional or Home
Windows 10 Home or Pro? Windows 10 was designed to address the shortcomings of the Windows 8 user interface. For this reason, users of Windows 7 and 8.1 were able to download a free update to Windows 10 for one year following its release (until July 2016).
Windows 10 can be used on desktop computers, laptops, smartphones, tablets, and other Windows devices, such as the Xbox One,
The Windows 10 operating system has limited availability compared to its predecessors.
In its standard configuration, Microsoft Windows is available in two editions: Home and Professional. In addition, versions designed for use by large organizations have also been released: Windows 10 Enterprise, Education, Pro Education, Remote Server, and Professional Workstation.
However, the most popular licenses available are still Windows 10 Home and Windows 10 Professional.
It’s also worth mentioning that there is an additional license type in the standard version: Windows 10S. This version is designed for educational use—for teachers, students, and learners. However, this operating system has many limitations; for example, it does not allow you to change your browser or install apps from outside the Microsoft Store. Access to administrative tools in this version is also severely limited; for example, you cannot access the Registry Editor. So, if you have the option to choose between Windows 10 Home and Windows 10 S, the Home license is definitely the better choice. The S version is useful when the operating system needs to be installed on a less powerful computer, when you’ve purchased a computer for younger children, or when the computer will be used by people who don’t need a more advanced operating system. However, the S version—which is essentially a stripped-down version of Home—will certainly not suit gamers or people who need a system with more advanced functionality. Such a system certainly stands out in terms of price, but if you have a choice, it is definitely worth choosing the more expensive and more cost-effective license option, such as Microsoft Windows Home or Pro.

Windows 10 Home or Pro: A Comparison of the Available Standard Editions – How Does Windows 10 Home Differ from Windows 10 Pro?
The Windows Home operating system can be used on both home and work computers. There are no restrictions on the use of certain types of licenses. Licensing restrictions apply only to Office and Microsoft 365 applications.
Like the Home edition of Microsoft Windows 10, as well as Windows Pro (Home and Pro), it is a powerful and user-friendly operating system that includes features such as:
- Windows Hello – a facial recognition camera and a fingerprint reader – make logging in to your computer more convenient. Thanks to these advanced features, you no longer have to worry about remembering passwords.
- Virtual desktops are another new feature introduced by Microsoft in Windows 10. You can free up disk space and memory by using a virtual desktop, where you can place the documents and folders you need, and then easily switch between your local desktop and the virtual desktop.
- Windows Defender – the antivirus software built into Windows 10. With it, you no longer have to worry about cyber threats.
- Parental controls – the ability to create an account for your child, which you can easily manage as an administrator, monitor the websites they visit, block access to specific apps, and set time limits for gaming and internet use,
- Microsoft Edge: a web browser that replaces Internet Explorer,
- Cortana: a voice-activated personal assistant that helps you navigate the system,
- Windows Holographic: HoloLens – a platform used to support holographic glasses.
- Continuum: tablet mode, which is designed for devices with touchscreens,
The difference between Windows 10 Home and Pro
What is the difference between the selected versions and the standard option?
The main difference between these two types of licenses (system versions) is how they are managed within a company network. Users of Windows 10 Home do not have access to advanced settings, which are very useful in larger companies.
The Windows 10 Pro edition stands out for features such as:
- The BitLocker system – confidential documents and personal data protected under the GDPR are types of information that require special security measures. In such situations, the BitLocker data encryption tool, available from Microsoft in the Pro version, proves essential. This program allows access to selected data only to authorized individuals, ensuring that in the event of cyberattacks, theft, or loss of equipment, the encrypted data stored on it will remain secure.
- Azure Active Directory services simplify the management of an organization’s computer network. They are a particularly useful and convenient tool for IT staff, significantly streamlining their work. Azure Active Directory services streamline the process of managing accounts and the devices assigned to specific groups, and also simplify network access management for the company, including network devices such as printers.
- User account management – the ability to create accounts for specific users and grant them access to selected features, applications, and data. This functionality allows multiple users to use a single computer or laptop without compromising each other’s private data. The administrator gains access to user management and, if necessary, the ability to suspend login privileges and delete accounts that are no longer needed. This system efficiently organizes the data stored on the desktop device and delineates the permissions held by individual company employees.
Windows 10 Home vs. Professional – Which One Is Right for You?
Windows Home or Pro? It all depends on what you plan to use the operating system for.
If a laptop or desktop computer is to be used in a business, then regardless of the company’s size, it’s better to invest in the slightly more expensive Windows 10 Pro license. This type of license ensures the security of company data, which is essential in light of the current GDPR. This refers to BitLocker, which not only enables data encryption, as we mentioned earlier, but also allows you to schedule system updates at any time of your choosing, even when you are away from the office. Additionally, as we mentioned earlier, Windows 10 Pro allows you to create virtual desktops and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, which significantly saves time and improves work quality within the company.
However, if you need Windows 10 to play demanding online games on a desktop PC—where, as we know, gaining an edge over your opponents, high-quality graphics, and the ability to achieve the best possible scores are key—then, as it turns out, the type of license doesn’t really matter. Both Home and Pro are versions of the operating system available for gaming that provide the highest quality graphics and sound; the only difference in this case is the price of the selected license.
It’s worth noting that Windows 10 is the first Microsoft operating system to support DirectX 12, which is responsible for audio and graphics quality in games. Additionally, it allows you to play at higher, previously unattainable 4K resolutions and features a special “Game Mode” that boosts your computer’s performance while gaming. Another important feature is access to the Xbox Game Pass, which is only available on Windows 10.
We'll help you decide which version of Windows is best
Windows 10 Home vs. Pro? Windows 10 is an operating system that is the most innovative system Microsoft has created to date. It was released in response to the needs of modern users, with a focus on streamlining work, boosting productivity, and enhancing the user experience. The new features included in the Windows 10 operating system allow for better protection of the data stored on your desktop device, whether for home or business use.
So, to answer the question of whether to choose Windows 10 Home or Pro—Windows 10 Pro definitely offers more capabilities. However, if you don’t need such advanced features and you don’t own a medium or large business, then Windows 10 Home will certainly suffice for you. The Windows 10 Pro license is primarily designed to meet the needs of businesses. For home users, the Home version is sufficient. This license provides system quality and performance comparable to Pro, differing mainly in the features available.
We hope this article has helped you decide which of the license types listed above is the best fit for you.
Our selection includes both Windows 10 Home and Windows 10 Pro.
Windows 10 Home or Pro – which one should you choose?
Windows 10 is the dominant operating system among Polish users. In time, we’ll be switching to Windows 11, but for now, it’s worth considering whether to choose Windows 10 Home or Pro. As the name suggests, Windows 10 Home is intended primarily for home use, and although it doesn’t have as many features as Windows 10 Pro, it’s worth considering if your needs aren’t too demanding. The difference between Windows 10 Home and Pro also comes down to price. Decide what’s best for you and which version will work best for your needs.

Microsoft Windows 10 is a version of the Windows operating system released in 2015.
Windows 10 was developed to address the shortcomings of the user interface that were present in Windows 8, when improvements to the operating system were clumsily introduced for personal computers and laptops. For this reason, users of previous versions (Windows 7 and 8.1) were able to upgrade their systems for free until July 2016.
Windows 10 can be used on laptops, desktop computers, smartphones, tablets, and other Windows devices, as well as on the Xbox One console,
Windows 10, recognized as the world’s best operating system, has been installed on the computers of over 56% of users, earning it the top spot among operating systems worldwide.
In this post, we’ll discuss the standard edition of Windows 10—the standard license type—and outline its features, differences, and prices for Microsoft Windows 10 Home and Microsoft Windows 10 Pro, i.e., 10 Professional.
How much does the innovative Windows 10 operating system cost?
There are several versions of this operating system. In its standard version, Microsoft Windows is available in two editions (license types): Home and Professional. Additionally, versions of the operating system designed for installation in large organizations have also been released: Windows 10 Enterprise, Education, Pro Education, Remote Server, and Professional Workstation.
The price of Windows 10 depends mainly on the type of license you choose to purchase. The standard version is simply Windows 10 Home—the version for home use—and Windows 10 Pro—Windows 10 Professional for commercial use. The same applies to other software. Keep in mind that versions intended for business use are usually much more expensive than Home versions—which are designed for use in the comfort of your own home. Windows 10 Home, however, has made some concessions in this regard, meaning it can be used for business purposes if the specific version of the system is sufficient.
When choosing the standard version of the software, it’s also worth mentioning the existence of an additional license type—Windows 10S. This version was designed for educational use: students, teachers, and university students. However, this version of the system is heavily restricted—it does not allow you to change your browser or install apps from outside the Microsoft Store. It also lacks access to many administrative tools, as well as the Registry Editor. If you have the choice between the cheaper Windows S and the more powerful Home operating systems, it’s worth opting for Home. The S version is useful when you need to install an operating system on a less powerful computer that cannot handle Windows Home. Windows S is also a good alternative if you want to buy a computer for children or if the laptop will be used by people who do not need a more advanced operating system. Windows S, on the other hand, certainly won’t suit gamers or people who need more advanced features. Usually, a laptop with Windows S is tempting because of its attractive price, but it may turn out later that you’ve actually paid much more if you have to buy the standard version of the system separately.
Microsoft Windows 10 Home price
Let’s first see what has changed compared to previous versions.
The Start menu is back, and the tile-based taskbar is easier to use and more convenient to manage. This bar can also be adjusted in width and height. Its left side typically displays the most frequently used apps, while on the right, Windows has placed tiles with assigned shortcuts that can be pinned as desired. Some of the tiles are animated and dynamic, allowing you, for example, to check the weather and the latest national news. The system search bar has also been expanded; in previous versions, its functionality raised quite a few doubts. In Windows 10, this search bar works much more efficiently and smoothly.
The ability to resize windows to fit half the screen is nothing new, but in Windows 10 this feature works much faster, providing a more comfortable and smoother user experience when multiple applications are open. In addition to these features, Windows 10 has an improved notification panel located in the lower-right corner. From there, you can directly access features such as wireless connections, settings, and the night mode toggle.
